In times of instability, mindful consumption as practiced at Grassroots through our 6-tiered framework helps to strengthen our mind and body to better handle eco-anxiety. Our goal is to scale impact. We want to empower you to apply sustainable practices into your everyday lives.
In this interactive workshop, Chef Peggy will break down the core elements of our integrated approach to food sustainability. She will share our best practices, recipes and plant-based techniques, nurtured and honed over the years at Grassroots Pantry. You will learn to include considerations such as sourcing, nutrition, zero-waste and biodiversity.
Chef Peggy will also demonstrate several mother recipes that have graced our kitchens, prepared in that classic, delicious, sophisticated, nutrient-laced GP way! Participants will end each workshop with a tasting, and receive a class packet with take-home recipes.
